How to wear

Find the line that feels right on you.

There is no single correct place to wear a waist piece. The natural waist feels defined and traditional. A lower placement feels relaxed and fluid. Measure where you want the piece to sit, over the outfit you plan to wear.

Choose the placement

Stand naturally and place a soft measuring tape at the natural waist or lower hip. Keep the tape level all the way around.

Measure over the outfit

Measure over your saree or lehenga, not directly against the body. Add 1.25 cm for a saree drape or 2.5 cm for a lehenga if the outfit is not available during measurement.

Check the wearable range

Every Kardhini piece is free size and fits a waist from 28 to 38 inches (71 to 97 cm). If your measurement is inside that range, fasten the clasp at the length that sits flat and comfortable, without pulling.

Ask if you are near either end

If you measure close to 28 or 38 inches, or outside the range, send us your measurement and a photo of the outfit on WhatsApp before you order. We will tell you honestly whether the piece will sit well.
